All the parts that have required 3D printing have been completed. Due to the lockdown in Ontario, collaboration for the project is less than ideal.
The initial tasks have been divided as such:
- Eric will setup the video streaming intake on the NVIDIA Jetson. This includes ensuring that three video streams can be taken in and processed simultaneously
- Justin will create the UI that will show the detections that have been found. The UI will be shown on the purchased external monitor that will be powered by the Jetson
- Jonathan will take care of setting up the NVIDIA Jetson so that the machine learning object detection code can be run in real time and in a loop
- Tian will be in charge of constructing the various custom-printed components needed for this product.
Further tasks include wiring and powering as well as testing the software in real-life scenarios. After the software is verified, the product will then be hooked up to a 2000 Toyota Camry and tested once more.
